  • Abstract
This paper focuses on identifying the nonlinear relationship between the voltage harmonic distortion and the percentage load of the most commonly used harmonic producing devices. The voltage harmonic distortion factor is calculated at each bus of a simulated distribution network under different loading conditions of each harmonic producing device. Then, different analytical models are used to find out the important features of the relationship between the voltage total harmonic distortion and the percentage load of the harmonic producing devices. Finally, this relationship is identified and presented in its analytical form. The sensitivity of voltage harmonic distortion to the load of the harmonic devices is also discussed
