Abstract
In this work, the (2+1)-dimensional Broer-Kau-Kupershmidt equation is investigated. The extended tanh method is efficiently used for analytic study of this equation. New kink or anti-kink wave solutions and solitary wave solutions are formally derived. The proposed schemes are reliable and manageable.
