Abstract
The effect of both temporal and spatial dispersion on the performance of a combined configuration of a RAKE and a phased array system is analyzed theoretically. The mean power improvement due to an antenna array system, and fading reduction by means of the RAKE configuration, are described in the presence of the spatial and temporal dispersion of multipath waves
