    How foster or cultivate the next generation of electronic information engineer is an important issue worth our in-depth study, among which the role experimental teaching play has become our focus. The experimental teaching reform and innovation will powerfully advance the pace of Tsinghua University towards first class university in the world. This paper analyzes the status quo of electronic engineering experimental teaching and proposes that in the cultivation of the innovative talents the teachers should "grasping both ends, and promote the middle". This guiding ideology shows the reform idea of laying a solid foundation, expanding innovation and promoting engineering system level of experiment. It also suggests the reform process of the pupils, and puts forward a kind of experimental teaching which makes full use of the advantages of the subjects and scientific research achievements of innovation mode.
