Abstract
In this paper, a new two-stage structure is proposed. For the first stage, a concept of energy transfer by the leakage inductor combined with the resonance is used to achieve a simple, high efficiency isolation stage. Application of this concept leads to the discovery of a family of simple, high efficiency DC/DC transformers. In order to achieve optimal system performance, the intermediate bus voltage is also investigated. Finally, The experimental results are provided.
