  • Abstract
    Major function oriented zoning (MFOZ hereafter) is the guideline for optimizing the spatial pattern of regional development in China, and thus is increasingly becoming a hot study topic. However, there are few researches on the relationship between MFOZ and regional administration and development. This paper tries to sort out and analyze the progress of the study of what has mentioned before, problems in regional administration affecting the advance of MFOZ, and finally points out the future research prospects.
