Abstract
E-business enterprises are faced with many multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) problems, e.g. supplier selection is essentially a MCDM problem. And many complex MCDM problems maybe involve with various types of uncertainties, in such circumstance one is likely to characterize uncertain information as interval data. In this paper a new decision making method based on combining interval data is presented, in which uncertain information is represented by interval data. According to evidence theory, interval data is firstly converted into basic belief assignment (bba) within a binary frame of discernment, then Dempsterpsilas rule of combination can be applied to integrate two interval data. On the basis of interval data combination we propose a new decision making method to synthesize the criteria of each alternative. At last, an example of supplier selection is given to verify the results and show its advantage.
