Abstract
This paper is concerned with the real-time extensions to the MMS protocol. We extend the time sensitive MMS objects and services by means of timing features. This extension induces some changes in the behaviour of the client and the server entities-both in the confirmed and the unconfirmed cases. The pseudocode describing the behaviour of these entities is presented followed by a modelling by means of Nutt networks. The issue of missing a deadline in the framework of a real-time MMS is also tackled
