  • Abstract
The lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) system is an RF source for current drive and second stability experiments on the PBX-M tokamak at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab (PPL). The system is presently in final testing and is scheduled for 1992 operation. The authors give a system description, and discuss the RF splitter, safety, high power waveguide considerations, the antennas, and diagnostics
