Abstract
Summary from only given. Power density (PD) of power converters has been increasing linearly by a factor of 2 figures in the last 30 years and is still keeping increase. Most important key issue for higher PD converter is volume reduction of heat sink and passive components by introducing higher switching speed and lower loss power devices. A design platform concept has been proposed for the future high PD converters. The concept is described with focusing on totally minimized circuit loss design, taking stray circuit parameters and passive components loss as well as device power consumption into consideration.
