Abstract
The problem of a narrow slot cut circumferentially in an infinitely long, conducting circular tube is examined in this summary. An integral equation, with the slot equivalent magnetic current as its unknown, is derived and solved numerically using the method of moments. Numerical data are presented to show the validity of the scheme and the properties of the structure.
