Abstract :
In response to societal needs, a new interdisciplinary curriculum at the interface of technology, policy and management has been developed at Delft University of Technology. In each of the four years, project learning is part of the core-curriculum. Projects are selected to provide a cumulation of learning experiences with respect to both behavioral and technical complexity. Three example projects are described. Experiences up to date indicate clear student motivation to work on projects, the necessity for intense staff involvement and coordination, and the necessity for a gradual built-up of complexity
