Abstract :
An efficient hybrid technique is described for the rigorous analysis of coupled circular waveguide horns in an arbitrarily shaped finite metal body of revolution. The technique is based on the boundary contour mode matching (BCMM) method with a spherical wave expansion for the inclusion of the outer cluster geometry. To show the usefulness of the method, a three horn cluster is analyzed including the influence of a thick finite metal plate.
