Abstract
The author shows that the fractional curl operator can have interesting application in extending the principle of duality in electromagnetism to "fractional" duality. Physical principles behind this novel concept of fractional duality are discussed, and it is shown how an electromagnetic problem can be "continuously" evolved into its dual problem using the mathematical tool of fractional curl operator.
