Abstract
Work performance is the base of constructing the core competence of enterprise and is always emphasized. And workers´ values impact work performance. In this article, we develop and test hypothesis and conceptual model in a sample of the relationship between work values and work performance. Using data from a survey of communication enterprises in south China, we find that for different demographic variables, cognition of work values is significantly different. Demographic variables moderate the positive relationship between work values and work performance.
