  • Abstract
    This paper describes the developmental activities of a mini-TWT for pulse radar systems. The radar TWT operates in the anode pulsed-mode and delivers more than 1kW in the S-band, without great difficulty. This S-band lkW pulsed mini-TWT is developed for microwave power modules (MPMs), having the RF output power of more than 1kW in the range of 2.5 to 3.6GHz and high overall efficiency of 60%.
