Abstract :
Compact and lightweight, millimeter wave amplifiers are increasingly needed for mobile Mil-Satcom communication requirements as well as high frequency electronic countermeasure (ECM) applications. L-3 Communications Electron Devices has developed a high performance 26 - 40 GHz Millimeter Wave Power Module (MPM) with CW output powers of 50 watts in the communications band of 30 - 31 GHz and 20 watts at the Ka-band edges.
