Abstract
The urban impervious surface coverage is one of the criteria of a city´s eco-environment rating system and it is of great importance by using remote sensing image. Take the example of Jiaozuo by using the technology of Landsat multispectral remote sensing image and object-oriented classification method, this paper get results of urban impervious surface coverage through the means of multi-scale segmentation and characteristic extraction. The results of the experiment are stable and reliable, which can provide reference for the urbanization research.
