Abstract :
A new procedure for evaluating the impulse response from source to receiver location in a room is outlined. The source to receiver impulse response is based on the method of images and is extended to incorporate scattering from objects having high acoustical contrast. It is shown that the impulse response in the presence of scatterers can be computed using Pade approximants to represent the scattered acoustic pressure field
