Abstract
In most modern power electronic devices, transformers are used to transfer energy and appear as the key point of switching power supplies. In order to achieve a better design and a global optimization of the converter the knowledge of an equivalent transformer circuit is very useful. Due to the rising switching frequencies, Litz wire is necessary in transformer design. Despite this, accounting for leakages and losses, when windings are made up of Litz wire is not clear yet. The aim of this paper is to compare several approaches of this point with experimental data
