Abstract :
This paper aims at giving an overview on the state of the art of vision-based, non-contact 3D measurement systems based on structured light. Such systems are equipped with a camera and a light projector, and are referred to in the literature as active stereo systems. This report is structured into structured light, calibration methods and 3D measurement techniques. Moreover, several selected research works are described in order to illustrate these different topics
