Abstract
This article presents a method for introducing fuzzy logic into a conventional α-β tracking algorithm. The algorithm is able to handle general tracking situations where targets can be either manoeuvring or non-manoeuvring and the tracking data consist of missing and erroneous values. To evaluate the performance of the fuzzy tracker, several sets of real data are used. The results are shown to be very encouraging
