Abstract
In this paper, we describe a new object-oriented simulation methodology that is being developed to support master production scheduling. The paper begins by defining the scheduling problem. Then we develop the process plan framework for the simulation. Next, the basic simulation methodology is defined. Finally, the directions for future research are briefly outlined
