Abstract
The added value of competitive intelligence (CI) can be efficiently realized by virtue of enterprise CI competence which provides necessary intelligent supports for business management and strategic decision-makings. For this reason, CI competence is regarded as an effective way to enhance core competitiveness of the enterprise. It plays an important role in building business strategies and tactics. In this paper, the cultivation model of enterprise CI competence is constructed. On the one hand, the supports and inputs of social culture, economy, government and technology, etc. consist of the external system. On the other hand, five factors including enterprise culture, strategic management, organizational management system, talents guarantee system and social network jointly support and cultivate the internal system. By means of this mechanism, benign cycles and sustainable developments of competitive intelligence system are ensured. Consequently, the advantageous positions of enterprises are eventually achieved in fierce competitions.
