  • Abstract
    In image edge detection, it is difficult to get the sharp edge without the noise of high frequency. An image is always accompanied with noises of high frequency before filtering. And the image edge will blur if the filters is involved. This paper proposes a new image edge detection algorithm based on the order morphology. In this method, the relationship of the pixels in part and the relationship of the pixels in whole are both considered together. It uses the order morphology not only in greys but also in positions of the image pixels. The sharp image edge is gotten by the order morphology transform on greys of pixels. And the noises are removed by the order morphology transform on positions of pixels. The sharp edge detection and noises removing are finished simultaneously.
