Abstract
A 12×12 InP wavelength selective router has been fabricated. Routing has been shown to operate at a channel rate of 2.5 Gbit/s, across two grating orders and exhibiting a difference in loss within 3 dB of the average channel loss of 7.7 dB. The design is compact (6.7×6.2 mm2) using TIR mirrors and slab waveguide propagation, the best channel crosstalk is measured at -25 dB
