Abstract

Software process improvement is the key issue of the software development technology at present, especially for small and medium organizations. According to small and medium organizations´ characteristic, the paper introduces an improved framework. Aiming at the issue o f how to merge capability maturity mode Integration (CMMI) into small and medium software organization, the key practice of CMM in the improved model is relocated and tailored. The feasibility and economic performance of this strategy are proved in practice.
