Abstract :
In this paper, we propose an algorithm for sea clutter rejection in radar image with short data length. The proposed system consists of two stages. Based on the fractal dimension of radar image, a target defector with low probability of miss is designed first, while high probability of false alarm is suffered due to the short data length. Utilizing the characteristics of fractional Brownian motion (FBM) and wavelet transform, the detection performance can be improved significantly in the second stage
