  • Abstract
    This paper describes COROCOF (comparison of rate-of-change of frequency) protection, for which a patent has been applied for by Powergen (UK). This is a new method of protection that overcomes the lack of discrimination of the ROCOF approach. The protection may be applied to any AC power system and is compatible with other forms of protection. It also does not disturb the system to which it is connected
