Abstract :
This paper considers the use of a barcode reader as digital TV interaction device. With the digital TV, t- learning arises as an opportunity in order to promote the learning to a major amount of people than the traditional e-learning doesn´t reach. However, the TV is not a media adjusted for the reading. Differently, the common paper provides excellent readability properties, besides, it is ubiquitous, portable, easy to use, inexpensive, can be annotated easily. But, paper displays are static and do not offer capabilities such as dynamic content and linking that can be provided with digital media, with a digital video in the TV, for instance. However, the use of remote control in the digital TV has a complex viewer interaction that may cause the user´s frustration and irritation. This paper aims linking the common paper with digital TV, in order to get better usabilility and promote more conditions to t-learning. .
