Abstract :
We propose a DS-CDMA UWB system using STBCs with a Rake receiver. We apply STBC to the DS-CDMA UWB system with Rake receiver and show its performance. This proposed system has better performance than that of the DS-CDMA UWB system. Furthermore, by employing the Rake receiver, capable of resolving multipath components, we can reduce the effect of fading in multipath environments.
