Abstract
Using moire interferometry, the authors have created a camera in which each pixel measures an absolute depth with up to 13 bits of dynamic range. The CADEYES camera system extracts depth interferometry by combining moire interferometry with sophisticated image processing techniques. CADEYES is a commercially available noncontact measurement system offering the advantage of high accuracy, full-field three-dimensional data acquisition and analysis at speeds which make it desirable for both factory floor and layout inspection applications. The system software is structured in a way that allows manual manipulation of data as well as dedicated applications that require minimal operator input
