Using tag to help keyword extraction

Keyword extraction is an important issue in text processing. Typically, researchers utilize linguistic features and/or statistical features of texts to accomplish this job. Other valuable information, e.g. tags of documents and so forth, is usually ignored. In this paper, we propose a novel keyword extraction method named "Tag-Based Keyword Extraction" to extract keywords with the help of tags. Experiment results show that this method outperforms existing keyword extraction methods remarkably.
