Abstract
This work have developed the quantum-jump statistical tools required to study the probe response for arbitrary probe and driving intensities and detunings. These tools have been applied to investigate the physical origin of amplification without inversion at the two symmetrically located sidebands appearing in the on-resonance driven cascade system.
