  • Abstract
The SPROC system provides a software-based design tool for the analog systems engineer that is superior to other available systems on the basis of DSP (digital signal processing) capability, hardware capability, and cost. The SPROC development system consists of a software package and a circuit board that holds the SPROC integrated circuit and support circuits such as the analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, some cables, the power supply, and an interface box to connect the circuit board to a PC. The SPROC system is the only analog systems design tool that is entirely DSP-based; i.e., all of the models in the SPROC library are implemented with DSP code on the SPROC integrated circuit
