Abstract
This paper studies on machining services(MS) features and the formation process of networked machining service chain(NMSC) in networked manufacturing environment. Four types of the connection relationship in MSs´ composition oriented on machining process are given. A MSs optimization matchmaking model was designed to set semantic similarity and machining service cost constraints as its target function, and a three-tier MS semantic similarity measurement mechanism was poseded, which are composed of the basic matchmaking, the machining rule-constraint matchmaking and service benchmark matchmaking. A two-phase NMSC deployment algorithm was developed.
