Abstract
In this paper, the influence of parameters of the generator and transformer, the additional capacitance to ground of the generator breakers on the zero-sequence voltages in generators during faults in the stator winding and the power system was determined. The analysis of zero-sequence components was carried out for unit-connected generators of power up to 1200 MVA. The voltage zero-sequence components feeding the measuring element of the protections were determined at faults along the whole length of the generator stator winding
