Abstract
This paper presents a CMOS low-pass continuous-time current mode filter for low voltage applications. Firstly, the state-space description and the used synthesis technique of the filter are presented. Then the current-mode integrator is presented and analyzed. Finally, the fifth order low-pass filter is described and analyzed. The filter achieves a 10 MHz cutoff frequency. The dynamic range is about 50 dB and the power consumption is 5 mW for a 3 V supply voltage.
