Abstract :
The turbo code performance over Rayleigh flat-fading channel using QPSK modulation is evaluated. By utilizing the orthogonal character, we have proposed a simplified turbo coding scheme which can greatly decrease the complexity. On the basis of this scheme, we have further simulated the turbo code performance over a Rayleigh flat-fading channel using different iterations. The influence of channel side information (SI) on the performance of turbo code is also addressed.
