Abstract :
Variant programming is regarded as a parametric design in literal and fundamental sense. Some parametric pattern models based on constraints are constructed by a sequence of operation and dimensional formula, not geometric constraints. In our previous work, parametric pattern-making model is created by geometric constraint graph. After surveying dimensional constraints in the other fields, this paper proposes complete parametric pattern-making model, including geometric entities, geometric constraints, dimensional constraints, measurement parameters and parameter constraints. Parameter constraints consist of difference, ratio and linear formula between measurement parameters, implemented by adjacent list of parameter constraints to keep body measurement parameters consistent. Moreover, the range of dimensional parameters is discussed further to explore the relation between measurement and dimensional parameters.
