Abstract :
During sizing process, sizing percentage is mainly determined by yarn´s penetration rate of slurry, yarn´s coating rate of slurry and moisture regain. This paper analyses the impact of various factors during sizing process and the relationship among them. A new control strategy of sizing percentage is proposed during the processes of dipping slurry, extrusion of slurry, drying slurry from the angle of slurry modulation, keeping of slurry temperature, type of sizing technology and on-line monitoring of moisture regain.
