Abstract :
We develop a space-time multiuser detection approach for uplink channels of CDMA systems with a time-switching technique. The design and analysis of the CDMA system with array antennas are presented. Based on CDMA codes and their spatial information, the WLS multiuser detection algorithm combined with the array pattern is provided. The calculating formulas for interference plus noise ratio (SINR) and bit error rate (BER) have been derived. Simulations show that the WLS multiuser detector is effective, and the CDMA systems with array antenna can provide a higher system capacity and a better performance than previously presented CDMA systems.
