Abstract
This paper presents a technique for the control of nonlinear dynamics based on the addition of an optical field that performs a perturbation of the tuning parameter. This is experimentally performed by sending on the liquid crystal film a second non-coherent and counter-propagating argon ion laser beam, with appropriate polarization. Its intensity can be considered as an "effective" tuning parameter.
