  • Abstract
The load disturbance rejection problem is analyzed. The Proportional - Integral - Derivative (PID) controller with the switched parameters based on a control algorithm, which is a modification of the conventional PID control method, has been suggested. The principal characteristic feature of the PID controller with the switched parameters is that different values of the proportional, integral and derivative constants are used at positive and at negative errors. Contrary to the conventional PID controller, the proposed controller allows us to improve the positive load disturbance rejection of the control system not sacrificing the set point response dynamics. The results of the investigation of the concrete control system based on the developed controller with various plants are presented.
