Abstract :
A study of the subspace approach to partially adaptive configurations is presented. The main goal of partially adaptive processing is to make the degrees of controllable freedom match the number of jammers; otherwise, the weight estimates by incompleted data can lead to sidelobe distortion and other harmful effects. Based on the theoretical analysis of the sidelobe fluctuation principle, the efficient subspace technique is derived. Under unified configuration, several subspace methods are discussed. The computation requirements and system performance for these methods are compared
