Abstract :
A laboratory program used by the Circuit Board Division of Tektronix to automatically obtain real-time analysis and statistical process control information is described. As processes are analyzed and adjusted by the laboratory, data are available to anyone in the plant for review in an easily understandable format. Process trends and upsets are quickly detectable, and necessary adjustments are easily made. The program is described, and details of SPC process optimization and troubleshooting are discussed
