Abstract :
This paper describes design and architecture of control software for a microrobotic paper fiber characterization platform. Mechanical properties of an individual paper fiber determine the key parameters affecting the quality of a paper sheet. However, thousands of paper fibers must be analyzed in order to produce statistically reliable data. This paper presents control software that aims at automation of an in-house developed paper fiber characterization platform.
