  • Abstract
This paper proposes an online estimation technique to determine a set of four basic parameters [rs, τs, ls , σls] of a three-phase induction machine. The linear regression models are derived from the dynamic machine model. With the proposed approach, all the parameters, except the stator resistance rs, are estimated using only a PWM voltage sinusoidal waveform. This study enables one to: (i) re-tune, online, the controller of the induction machine which has been detuned due to changes in the machine parameter; and (ii) to construct a parameter mapping of the induction machine in terms of its operating points. Several experimental results of the proposed approach in the modeling of a three-phase induction machine are presented
