Abstract
The equivalence of optimal systems design by the time-domain and frequency-domain approaches is discussed. Both the equivalences of closed-loop transfer function matrix and loop-gain transfer function matrix are given such that both the time-domain and frequency-domain approaches optimal systems can satisfy the return difference equality
