    The Mechanical Design course is one of the important technology basic course. The application of ANSYS in Mechanical Design Field teaching is introduced in this paper. The paper analyzes the positive effects of ANSYS in mechanical design teaching. It concludes that ANSYS can be applied to the course´s instruction, enabling abstract theory to be displayed directly in figures or animated pictures. The computer simulation means makes up the short of practice. The good effect is proved.
